The Position
● As the Bookkeeper and Office Manager for the company, reporting directly to the CEO ensuring effective direction and implementation of the business finances and accounting functions
● Full Time Salary position ranging from $50K-60K based on experience

Responsibilities
● Development, recommendation and implementation of bookkeeping policies
● Preparation of monthly financial statements
● Cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, GST returns
● Approve and Submit Monthly Payroll and associated Remittance
● Daily Reconciliation, Month End, Budget Tracking
● Maintain a good working relationship with vendors
● Prepare financial reporting for the annual report
● Support managers dealing with budgets and targets
Skills/Requirements
● Must have bookkeeping or accounting experience 2-3 yrs
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
● Self-directed with a keen eye for detail
● Takes initiative to ensure success
● Favours task-based results
● Natural leader with excellent people skills
● Able to articulate complex accounting procedures based on Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles
● Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks online
● Proven track record of teamwork and collaboration
● A professional designation is a plus
The Office Location
● Headquarters are in Harvie Heights, Alberta. 3-minute drive from Canmore, and
10-minute drive from Banff.
● Candidates must be able to work from the Harvie Heights office when required.
