This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process payroll in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in budgeting processes and provide insights on financial performance.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage50 and Microsoft Office Suite for daily bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Assist with end of month and end of year filing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven 5-10 years experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage50 or Simply Accounting.
- Experience with payroll processing and bank reconciliation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Must have own reliable transportation.
Compensation, Hours, Job Perks:
- $60,000-$65,000 per year to start
- Monday to Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm (in office)
