Position Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is critical to ensuring our financial health and supporting strategic planning for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with department heads to assist with financial planning and analysis
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support the audit process and coordinate with external auditors
- Assist in developing financial strategies for company growth, including capital expenditures and cost management
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and statements
- Assist with SRED credit preparation and project tracking (as relevant to ongoing projects like Titanium 8)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification (preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a tech or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and payroll processes
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
