Responsibilities:
Strategy, Planning and Management
- Serve as CFO and strategic partner to the senior executive leadership team.
- Provide actionable insights on organizational performance, balancing short-term and long-term objectives.
- Enhance systems and processes for operational efficiency, identifying areas for optimization and automation.
- Engage regularly with the Board of Directors, current investors, and potential investors.
- Take a leadership role in M&A exploration and capital raising activities.
- Spearhead financial and returns analysis for capital projects, including fiber builds.
- Manage financial audits, tax compliance, and other regulatory matters.
- Oversee preparation of reports for management, regulators, and investors.
- Develop and optimize the CFO team through recruitment and leadership.
Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Prepare and communicate insightful monthly financial and operational results.
- Analyze monthly financials and drive recommendations for improved business performance.
- Lead the FP&A function, developing and maintaining multi-year financial forecasts.
- Oversee management of a substantial capital program.
- Supervise the creation and enhancement of budgeting and forecasting tools and processes.
- Manage cash flow planning and ensure fund availability.
- Oversee debt compliance activities, capital structure management/optimization, and bank reporting.
Human Resources & Administration
- Oversee the Human Resources function to maximize the company's success.
- Ensure effectiveness of logistics functions including procurement, inventory management, and warehousing.
- Manage Administrative functions including Contract, Legal, Fleet, and Facilities management for compliance and optimal outcomes.
- Facilitate efficient Board-Management interactions, serving as Corporate Secretary.
Qualifications:
- Financial designation (CA/CPA) with a relevant University Degree
- Previous experience as CFO or in similar high-level financial roles
- Excellent communication skills
- Expertise in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and strategy development/implementation
- Experience with M&A and capital raising, particularly with private capital
- Familiarity with digital infrastructure build and operation (preferred)
- Strong analytical, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented and adaptable to rapid change
