Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement. Fill out HST monthly. Record payroll, T4, T4A using shorthand book.
- Perform account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow
- Perform account analysis to identify trends and variances
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Work with cross-functional teams to support financial decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years of financial work experience in a foreign trade company or import/export business
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Working language: Bilingual - Chinese & English
