The Infrastructure and Project Finance team helps public and private sector clients finance, deliver and operate projects in a cost effective and efficient fashion. As part of our team, you’ll help our client with procurement strategies, project structuring, financing and negotiations.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Capital Projects & Infrastructure Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervise and contribute to drafting reports and information documents of a financial nature, business cases and analyses related to various procurement methods
Coordinate the preparation of proposals for several projects
Oversee the development and review of complex financial models
Participate in the development of the strategic planning, granting and financial structuring of capital and infrastructure projects
Develop an in-depth understanding of various sectors such as transportation, health or energy
Become the point of contact and liaise between PwC and client’s teams
Understand and assess client needs to provide them with information essential to making informed decisions
Advise clients on best practices in the management of capital and infrastructure projects, and support them in the implementation of these recommendations
Contribute to the development of the CP&I practice and the PwC brand
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Relevant professional experience, in major capital projects and infrastructure
Strong communication, presentation and writing skills, including the ability to understand and effectively summarize complex documents
Proven technical and analytical capabilities including proven financial analysis and financial modelling skills (applied to infrastructure and/or energy projects)
Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Confidence, desire and ability to learn all aspects of infrastructure sectors in a short timeframe
A taste for teamwork, on complex and often demanding projects;
A university degree in a relevant discipline (business, accounting, finance, procurement, law, engineering, political science, etc.)
A professional designation (or an interest in pursuing it) in finance (CFA, CBV) or in project management (PMP) will be considered an asset
The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
This role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designation
