About the Opportunity
- This role will be an integral member of the financial reporting team responsible for financial statement preparation, quarterly financial close, regulatory reporting and other accounting, treasury, and financial planning and analysis responsibilities.
- Core finance responsibilities include preparation of month end journals and reconciliations, and quarterly and annual financial and regulatory reporting.
- This role will also include participation in the annual budget process and ad hoc projects as they arise.
About You
- CPA designation preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting and reporting experience
- Experience within the financial services or insurance industry is an asset
- IFRS experience is an asset
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Complex financial modelling skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains financial system an asset
Salary Range
$95,000 - $110,000/year
