The Finance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations within the company. This position involves managing day-to-day financial tasks. The Finance Coordinator collaborates with various departments to streamline financial processes and resolve discrepancies, while also maintaining compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
What you'll be doing:
- Process all payments within our broker administration system
- Maintain both our general and trust accounts in accordance with regulators
- Reconcile entries
- Maintain proper historical records
- Prepare month end / yearend financial statements
- Process payroll
- Complete financial spreadsheets and Regulatory forms
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Must have 5+ years' experience
- Ability to work within a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to keep information confidential a must
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software are essential for success in this role
- Insurance industry experience a definite asset
