We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Belleville, Ontario. Remote work is not available for this position.
OVERVIEW
The Financial Controller of ASCI position is responsible for the financial control activities of Amer Sports Canada Inc. The main goal is to ensure accurate financial reporting, accounting policies compliances, and continuous finance process optimization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:
- Manage all aspects of accounting functions for Amer Sports Canada Inc.
- Responsible for accuracy of G/L and Financial Statements
- Lead and support on tax reporting, Internal and External audits
- Work in partnership with business units for risk controls and compliances with IFRS and company policies
- Work with HQ and Shared Services on continuous process improvements
- Responsible for timely and quality closes for month-end and Year-end
- Collaboration across our global organization to support internal accounting needs
- Lead other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed
- Any other task deemed necessary by the Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting
· CPA designation or proof of working towards designation.
· Strong knowledge of IFRS
· Eight (8) years experience in Financial Accounting, 3 years team leadership experience.
· Experience in public accounting preferred
· Experience with SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power Point

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
