Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial aspects of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. There is a Junior Bookkeeper in place responsible for the day to day tasks of the bookkeeping. The Senior Bookkeeper will manage the Bookkeeper and the Financial Department, including AR, AP, Payroll, Cash Flow, Compliance, Chart of Accounts and Year End.
This CAN be a hybrid job once applicant has completed training on site.
Duties:
- Oversee and mentor bookkeeper on-site, ensure financial record is accurate.
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including payroll, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, GST/PST/WSBC/EHT/WSBC Compliance.
- Prepare and discuss monthly profit and loss reporting as per set protocols in Excel.
- Assist with financial planning and budgeting, monthly in-person meetings with owners on-site.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor financial plans and budgets.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Jobber, Lightspeed, and other tools to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role, minimum 2 years experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Highly skilled in using accounting software and tools like Excel and QuickBooks Online.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
