Perfect Delivery Canada is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to oversee the accounting operations of the company. This individual will maintain an adequate system of accounting records, ensure our Bookkeeper entries are accurate, general ledger analysis amongst other accounting activities.
Depending on the individual needs, the position may be either contract or part time employee with flexible hours that may be split between working remotely from home and from the Perfect Delivery offices.
Reporting to the Managing Partner, the position requires the individual to manage overall aspects of accounting including but not limited to the following:
- Enhance and maintain financial accounting systems, policies and, procedures
- Manage financial reporting systems
- Control final monthly and annual financial statements and reports
- Protect assets by evaluating, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
- Create financial models analyzing strategic business decisions as necessary
- Monitor controls to ensure accuracy of data/information
- Direct & oversee bookkeeping entries
Requirements :
- Post secondary degree in related field, CA/CPA designation or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years directly related experience.
- Can-do attitude and ability to adapt and embrace new challenges.
- Detailed, organizational, deadline-driven and self-motivated
- Computer skills must include working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inventory control software.
