Team Auction's main office is in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We have 5 locations total (Drayton Valley, Edmonton, Fairview, Taber and Kamloops, BC).
**Job Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, corporate finance, and account analysis. This position offers the opportunity to work on various accounting functions and contribute to the financial success of the organization. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions - Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes - Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulations - Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions - Support budgeting and forecasting activities - Collaborate with team members on corporate finance projects **Skills:** - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial reporting - Experience in account reconciliation and financial analysis - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for numbers and finance, we invite you to apply for the Staff Accountant position.
