We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, problem solver to join our team.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper is required. CPB certification preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping for multiple companies in various industries.
- Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts
- Cleanup / Catchup
- GST Returns (mostly profit but some non-profit)
- PST Returns (familiarity with all provinces is a plus)
- Perform reviews to ensure accuracy of accounting data
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero (certification a plus)
- Utilize document control software such as Dext and Hubdoc (certification a plus)
- Experience with Financial Cents is also a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Familiarity with payroll processing and various payroll software is a plus but not required
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
