The S2G Vendor Services Team is Growing! We are looking to hire a Reporting Analyst!
This role is primarily responsible for understanding and determining reporting needs for the Vendor Services team. The role will develop and provide regularly scheduled reporting to S2G vendors and support S2G Vendor Services team with ad hoc reporting requirements. The role shall also act as a backup to other Vendor Services staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
Inventory Reporting
- Prepare and deliver daily inventory issue and opportunity updates to buyers/product managers in Vendor Services team
- Provide support and analysis to product manager & buyer teams on forecast, inventory and consumption trends (seasonality, decay curves etc.)
- Prepare and maintain monthly (or weekly as needed) inventory aging reports for all S2G entities
- Provide daily/weekly inventory reporting to S2G Executive team
Purchasing Reporting & Data Management
- Build and provide sell through reporting systems for vendors where necessary
- Provide ad-hoc vendor reporting (sales, inventory, purchases etc)
- Develop and provide support for all reporting across vendor services team
- Review and take corrective action to fix inaccurate system data not meeting established standards
- Update and refine existing SQL and VBA reports across S2G companies
- Manage S2G environmental government reporting needs
- Assist with quarterly senior management presentations
- Assist with item setup and other data intensive tasks where necessary
- Assist in creating, testing and implementing new tools to make daily tasks more efficient
- Assist in documenting, reviewing and implementing departmental processes
Skills And Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese is an asset
- 3+ years of related work experience (analysis, reporting, inventory management, supply chain etc.).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Expertise and efficiency in working with SQL queries and Excel integration
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains system tables is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Access
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent math skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle stressful situations.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
