We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager, specializing in Reorganizations, tax compliance, and International Tax, to join our expanding tax practice, with a focus on the private corporations. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a specialty area within a growing tax practice.

What we need from you:
- Master of Taxation or completion of CPA Canada International In-Depth Tax Program
- At least 5 years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Dynamic problem solver with strong project management skills
- Strong communication skills for articulating complex tax laws
- Proven project management skills in fast-paced engagements
- Solid understanding of inbound and outbound tax issues and planning related to investment funds.
- Experience with U.S. cross-border tax
- Proactive in process improvement and familiar with relevant technology tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth
What you will do:
- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements
- Apply knowledge of the Income Tax Act, Regulations, rulings, treaties, and case law to reorganization and complex cross-border tax situations
- Mentor and train staff, building a high-performing team
- Collaborate with colleagues within audit, and tax
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses and investments
- Contribute to business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities
- Promote innovative business and tax solutions to clients
