Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills to support budgeting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely payments to employees while maintaining compliance with tax regulations.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support business planning.
- Maintain organized financial records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including account analysis, budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
