Continental Conveyor is a well-established group of privately owned companies, based in Napanee, Ontario and Thetford Mines, Quebec. We design and manufacture bulk material handling equipment for a Canadian and international client base. We are looking for a Human Resources & Accounting Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- employee safety orientation, equipment inspections and reporting
- planning and organizing safety training programs for employees and supervisors
- assist with accident and injury reporting
- assist with administration of benefits, recruiting and hiring.
- payroll data entry,
- job costing data entry,
- general accounting activities such as accounts payable data entry using ERP software
- activities related to assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Qualifications:
- Recent college graduate or experience in similar job position
- Strong English communication (both verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, in particular Excel and Word
- Discretion and good judgement in handling confidential matters
- WHMIS & JHSC training
- Fluency in French an asset
