Role Summary
As Vice President, Finance, you will take the reins of our financial strategy, execution, and leadership. Acting as the CEO’s trusted partner, you’ll lead global finance operations, oversee all business units, and drive automation, efficiency, and reporting improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
- Own financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for both business units.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Global Expansion
- Manage financial operations related to assets in Belgium, the US, and Japan.
- Support market expansion while ensuring compliance with regional regulations.
Operational Excellence
- Drive financial process automation to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency.
- Leverage and enhance the capabilities of a highly customized NetSuite ERP system.
Inventory & Reporting
- Implement robust inventory controls to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Accelerate reporting timelines, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of five finance professionals and one HR professional.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, growth, and adaptability.
Acquisition & Growth Support
- Evaluate and support potential acquisition opportunities (less frequent priority).
- Travel occasionally to client meetings and trade shows to strengthen partnerships.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Finance Leadership: 10+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years managing teams.
- Industry Expertise: Hands-on experience in manufacturing or machinery; ERP familiarity is essential (NetSuite preferred).
- Credentials: CPA required; CFA considered an asset.
- Change Management: Proven ability to drive transformation in organizations resistant to change.
- Strategic Thinking: Experience working directly with executive leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable leading financial systems/process improvements and leveraging software to improve operational outcomes.
