This A-Z Driver position will operate a commercial motor vehicle between various pick up and delivery locations in Southern Ontario. The Driver will ensure that trips are run safely, efficiently and in compliance with transportation regulations. Also, Intermodal (CN and CP work) 6:00am Start time
Priority Logistics offers a loyalty program for its drivers. Employees who have worked as company drivers for three years are given the opportunity to transition into owner-operators and bring their own truck into the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Local pick-ups and deliveries (LTL and Full Loads)
- Ensure pre and post-trip and inspections are completed correctly
- Ensure all paperwork (bill of ladings, inspection sheets, other receipts) are being handed in.
- Ability to use transportation (Driver App) software to communicate with dispatch
- Intermodal (CN and CP work) is an asset - our team will train.
- NO HANDBOMB or DRIVERS ASSIST
Requirements:
- Valid A-Z Operators License
- 3 Year verifiable AZ Heavy Vehicle driving experience
- A Police Criminal Record check from the past 30 days
- An updated CVOR abstract
- An updated Drivers Abstract
