Senior Audit Associate, Small Private assurance services
Responsibility:
- You will oversee audit, review and compilation engagements of small and medium-sized clients
- Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns
- Manage assignments from planning to completion of statements
- Participate in project financials, including budgets, WIP, time & billing
- Mentor, train, and develop junior staff
- Provide assistance to clients and help them reach solutions on their needs
- Working with clients and partners through complex accounting issues to recommend appropriate solutions
Your requirement and qualifications:
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent or Newly Qualified CPA
- 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, currently in a senior or supervisor audit position
- Previous experience using CaseWare and Taxprep a must
- Previous experience in ASPE & IFRS & Canadian Tax for Private enterprises
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail
- Professional public accounting firm experience is a must
- Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and demonstrate strong team building and leadership qualities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
