GENERAL ACCOUNTANT
Premier Kosher Inc. is currently seeking an Accounting and Payroll Administrator to join their team. This exciting opportunity will support Premier Kosher by professionally and efficiently performing the following responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (to include, but not limited to)
- Responsible for the full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing cycles
- Process Visa and Bank Reconciliations
- Process employee staff expense reports and payment runs
- Set up vendors and customers
- Communicate regularly with vendors and customers
- Process payroll and post payroll journal entries
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive employee records
- Assist with GST/HST return filings and bi-weekly remittances to the CRA for payroll deductions (EI/CPP/Federal income tax)
- Assist with month end duties by entering journal entries/adjusting entries/closing entries
- In addition, there will be some HR administrative duties including onboarding and EHT/WSIB management oversight
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in AR/AP/payroll/general accounting work
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Familiarity with ERP systems supporting manufacturing environments
- Must have great attention to detail and be organized
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
