Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their growing team. Leading a team of accounting and finance professionals, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing key financial functions including accounts payables and expense management for the organization. This is a great role for someone who is looking to expand their accounting leadership experience while driving key processes and efficiencies for the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Effectively manage and mentor the Accounts Payable team, ensuring appropriate training and development within the team.
Optimize key functions as it relates to accounts payables, accruals, job costing.
Provide regular reporting and analysis to ensure credit balances are accurate.
Audit and process expense reports in accordance with internal process.
Review KPI’s and recommend efficiency improvements
Oversee and review reconciliations across the organization.
Assist in the maintenance and development of internal financial controls.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications Include:

At least 5 years of progressive experience in managing large accounting teams.
Post secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
CPA designation is an asset but not required.
Previous experience in managing Accounts Payable in a multi-national setting.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, and accounting systems.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, with the ability to set and manage priorities for individuals and teams.
Demonstrated experience in managing dynamic teams.
