Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeoer/Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their monthly bookkeeping and or tax preparation and compliance needs. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to tax regulations.

Duties

Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct thorough account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
Assist clients with payroll processing and related tax obligations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain financial health.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage for efficient record-keeping.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly.

Skills

Proficiency in account reconciliation processes.
Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
Familiarity with various accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
