Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices. PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and update accurate record keeping on various financial tasks, including but not limited to the following;

- Accounts payable: Process vendor invoices and apply payments

- Accounts receivables: Process customer invoices and apply payments

- Month-end Process: Perform month-end close and reconciliations

- Year-end Process: Perform year-end close and reconciliations

- Bank reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations

- GST/HST/PST Returns

- Direct support to Accountant/Controller

- Assist in inventory count and reconciliations

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

- Liaison office

- Other related tasks

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 2 years knowledge and in depth experience on full accounting cycle
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Enterprise
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge and experience in Fundraising operation is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
