Position:

We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Administration, you have a passion for organization, love numbers, and have a keen eye for detail. There is an opportunity for advancement in this position.

During the summer months, there may be some occasional travel required.

Technically savvy using multiple software applications in conjunction with Microsoft Office.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and numeracy skills.
Reliability and flexibility to travel to our resorts when required.

Excellent time management and a strong ability to prioritize work when under pressure.
Positive contributor to the office environment.

Skills and experience required:

Experience working in a role requiring confidentiality.
Familiarity with the general principles of accounting.
Minimum 2 + years Bookkeeping experience (with QBO preferably).
Accurate and timely data entry skills.
Experience working as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.

You will:

Accurately record financial transactions.
Maintain the general ledger and subsidiary accounts to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Reconcile bank, credit card and benefit accounts.
Complete weekly payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and expenses.
Complete payroll functions when required.
Travel monthly to the resorts for physical inventory counts, when required.
Support general office operations and working environment of Head Office.

Compensation:

This is a permanent year-round position with a competitive annual salary of $55,000 - $60,000.

Schedule:

Full-time (40 hours per week)
Monday to Friday
