Job Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records
Process accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Ensure timely and accurate GST/HST filings
Handle payroll processing and related records
Liaise with accountants and provide documentation for audits
Maintain accurate and organized filing systems

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
Adept in learning new technology
Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and financial laws
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $23.84-$26.70 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
