Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Ensure timely and accurate GST/HST filings
- Handle payroll processing and related records
- Liaise with accountants and provide documentation for audits
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
- Adept in learning new technology
- Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and financial laws
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
