Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing expense reports, and reconciling accounts in a timely manner.

For Accounting / Accounting Specialist / Accounting Related Graduates only.

Duties:

· Perform day to day transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

· Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently

· Setting invoices up for payment. Entering and uploading invoices into the AP system

· Vendor / Supplier file maintenance

· Completing and updating essential details such as complete name, contact information and any other pertinent information

· Process outgoing payments. Facilitate payment of invoices

· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

· Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional manner

· Prepare and perform check runs

· Process EFT

· Run payroll on QuickBooks

· Daily Bank matching or reconciliation on QuickBooks

· Assist with month-end closing

· Posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and any other records

· Assist with other accounting projects as needed

· Maintaining confidentiality of organizational information

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
· knowledge of accounts payable

· knowledge of general accounting procedures. Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles

· knowledge of relevant accounting software – preferably QuickBooks

· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

· Proficiency in English and in MS Office

· Proficiency in data entry and management, clerical tasks including data entry

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to perform account reconciliations and analyze financial data

· 1-2 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
