DSPM is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating rent payment processing for over 1,200 tenancies in addition to resolving any collection-related issues throughout the portfolio.

General Responsibilities:

- Daily processing of tenant rent payments received via cheque, PAP, EFT, and other electronic payment methods through Yardi Voyager and related banking platforms;

- Preparation of deposit slips for each payment receipt;

- Daily/weekly communication with delinquent tenants for outstanding rent arrears and overdue payments;

- Update tenant records for new/revised payment information, contact particulars, etc.;

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in tenant ledgers;

- Preparation and distribution of default notices prepared in accordance with the terms and conditions of tenant leases;

- Preparation of daily rent receivables reporting;

- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor;

- Meet collection targets and deadlines set by management;

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar role within the real estate/property management environment;

- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and regulations;

- Excellent verbale and communication skills;

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

- Strong attention to detail and dispute-resolution skills;

- Ability to work well with colleagues in a team environment;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
