POSITION: Accounts Payable Specialist

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our accounting team to process our vendor invoices for payment.

· You will match purchase orders to vendor invoices for payment.

· Code invoices to the proper GL accounts and enter data into our accounting software. Attention to detail is critical throughout this process.

· Process cheque runs.

· Resolve vendor inquires.

Training and mentorship is provided, but you must be a self-starter, have strong problem-solving abilities and be interested learning new accounting tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· College Diploma or higher.

· Previous experience working with accounts payables, billings and/or receivables.

· Construction industry experience is valuable.

· Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products

· Knowledge of Maestro Accounting Software is an asset as is Texada Software

· Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, text and email

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
