We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to fill our Staff Accountant position to help manage financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT DUTIES

- Perform and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and administration

- Maintain the general ledger, prepare quarterly financial reports, and journal entries

- Prepare bank reconciliations

- Perform payroll and year end reporting

- Receive and respond to staffing inquiries

- Utilize Sage Business Vision for accounting functions

- Help contribute to an efficient and positive work environment.

- Group insurance Administration

- Tendering and Contract Administration

- Other duties as required

- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week

Experience

- BBA/B. Comm required

- 3-5+ years of accounting management experience required

- Office Management/Leadership experience preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel and Word

- Has the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management and customers.
