An active property management company is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join the accounting team. Deadline oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and work independently and in a team environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the full cycle accounting for Commercial and Condominium properties
Ensure monthly financial reports are delivered accurately and timely, including capital assets continuity schedule and recovery reconciliation files
Prepare year-end CAM & Tax recoveries
New lease set up/ termination and refunds
Enter lease information into the accounting system for lease payment schedules associated with new leases, mortgages, renewals, and amendments
Perform matching, batching and coding of vendor invoices
Maintaining, accurate and up to date tracking, filing and payments of vendor invoices and all relevant documentation.
Deposit cheques on a daily basis for Commercial and Condominium properties
Accurate input and adjustments of journal entries
Communicate with Property Managers regarding financial reports, statements, budgets, and analysis

Qualification:

University Degree or College Diploma in accounting or related field of study
Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and works well in a team environment
Excellent time management skills
Intermediate working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
Exposure to Accounting software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
