An active property management company is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join the accounting team. Deadline oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and work independently and in a team environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full cycle accounting for Commercial and Condominium properties
- Ensure monthly financial reports are delivered accurately and timely, including capital assets continuity schedule and recovery reconciliation files
- Prepare year-end CAM & Tax recoveries
- New lease set up/ termination and refunds
- Enter lease information into the accounting system for lease payment schedules associated with new leases, mortgages, renewals, and amendments
- Perform matching, batching and coding of vendor invoices
- Maintaining, accurate and up to date tracking, filing and payments of vendor invoices and all relevant documentation.
- Deposit cheques on a daily basis for Commercial and Condominium properties
- Accurate input and adjustments of journal entries
- Communicate with Property Managers regarding financial reports, statements, budgets, and analysis
Qualification:
- University Degree or College Diploma in accounting or related field of study
- Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and works well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exposure to Accounting software

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
