Job Title: Bookkeeper (Bilingual French & English)

Location: Hybrid (Office located in Woodbridge, ON L4H 1X9)

Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their expanding team. This hybrid role offers a flexible schedule, requiring you to work in the office 3 days a week and remotely from home the other days. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping practices across their operations in Quebec and Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and manage payroll.
Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
Collaborate with the operations team to provide financial insights and support.
Ensure compliance with provincial regulations in Quebec and Ontario.
Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders in both French and English.

Qualifications:

Must be perfectly bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.
3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
Experience in bookkeeping for operations in Quebec and Ontario is a must.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
