Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant at Emcon Services Inc. in Merritt , BC. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifications

Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting skills
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and company policies
Experience in maintaining financial records and analyzing financial data
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Preferably experience in Explorer software -Eclipse version
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
CPA designation or working towards CPA certification is a plus
