Your New Role
As a Cost Accountant, you will handle daily production data entry, sales order creation, and invoicing. You will coordinate with the Production department, reconcile daily production, analyze manufacturing costs, and maintain product costing standards. Your role also includes supporting operations management, coordinating with accounts payable, and assisting in period-end close and audits.
What You Will Need to Succeed
You will need 3+ years of relevant experience, particularly in manufacturing cost accounting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of ASPE/GAAP and advanced MS Excel skills are required. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are also important. A post-secondary education in finance or accounting, with progress towards a CPA designation, is preferred. Experience with Nav13 or Microsoft/Dynamics manufacturing is a plus.
