What Your Role Would Be Responsible For:
- Analyzing financial results, trends, and key performance indicators to offer valuable insights to the management.
- Leading our annual sales budget preparation and forecasting with the sales team.
- Monitoring actual performance vs budgets & forecasts.
- Conducting pricing/profitability analysis and making recommendations for new and existing business.
- Supporting Account Managers with reporting, analysis, and customer business reviews on a monthly or ad hoc basis.
- Calculating and reporting on broker and internal sales commissions monthly.
- Assisting with month-end closing and supporting our transition to a new ERP system.
- Ensuring adherence to all food safety standards and programs.
What You Need to Succeed in This Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years in a Financial Analyst role with proven quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and CRM, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with data query/data management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail Oriented, Team Player with a strong problem-solving ability.
- Deadline- driven with strong ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in cost accounting is an asset.
- Take the ownership of mistakes and strive for improvement (we call it “Own the way you roll”)
