As an integral member, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile financial statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and protect sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as required.
Areas of Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
