Job Summary/Duties:
The successful Advisor, Financial Operations and Accounting who joins our practice will be analytical and procedural in their day-to-day activities. They are dependable, and the company trusts their ability to prepare and analyze all financial documents.
Duties and responsibilities of a Senior Accountant may include:
· Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS or US GAAP for clients in a variety of businesses and industries.
· Effectively communicate within our team, with clients, and with relevant government agencies.
· Build positive working relationships with clients and other members of the team and respond to requests and suggestions.
· Full cycle accounting for clients including payroll, HST and all relevant accounting task
· Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and other relevant information returns.
· Complete additional projects or related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
- A university degree in a relevant field.
- You have completed or are currently working towards your CPA designation.
- A minimum of one year of public accounting experience including the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns. (More senior candidates are also encouraged apply)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
- Excellent computer skills, with experience using CaseWare, Taxprep and MS Office (including Excel and Word)
