Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Accounting Analyst. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role presents an exciting opportunity to support the finance team as it is responsible for the efficient operation of finance department. This role manages the financial reporting, cash flow management, internal controls and compliance as well as reporting and analysis.
Your responsibilities
· Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
· Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Ensure daily bank transaction processing and reconciliation of all bank accounts.
· Manage the Management group funds by forecasting and tracking its cashflows.
· Warn management about possible shortfalls in meeting the Management group’s financial obligations.
· Monitor the system of controls over the cash assets.
· Monitor the company’s compliance with debt covenants.
· Comply with reporting requirements imposed by the financing agreement.
· Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
· Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure audit compliance and timely resolution of audit issues.
· Provide management with detailed reports and analyses of financial performance.
· Respond to requests for financial data from various departments.
· Recommend improvements in financial reporting systems and procedures.
· Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency.
This role is for you if you have …
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a must.
· Five (5) years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
· Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights.
· Precision in handling financial records and reports.
· Proficiency in ERP systems like Sage, SAP, Oracle, and others.
· Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMPRODUCT complex formulas).
· Experience with consolidation tools like BPC, OneStream, Hyperion, etc.
· Experience with reconciliation tools such as Trinitech, Blackline, etc.
· Ability to present financial data and analysis to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
· Ability to identify and address financial discrepancies or inefficiencies.
· Efficient in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
