We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks, supporting team members, and facilitating effective communication. This position requires a proactive individual who can multitask efficiently and maintain a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing customer orders along with purchase orders.
- Receiving orders once they arrive.
- Calling customers once orders come in and filing the customer order once received.
- Reconcile orders.
- Adding new products to the showroom as well as adjusting prices on products.
- Adjusting inventory count when needed.
- Helping out at the sales desk and assisting customers in the store.
- Answering the phone.
- Logging and doing bank deposits.
Skills
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail.
- Polite customer service.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Proven experience in team management and supervising staff.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and human resources practices is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using office software and technology.
- Accounting experience is an Asset.
- Building materials knowledge.
