Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, weekly, and quarterly basis, providing insights into operational performance, profitability, and cost management.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform detailed ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, collaborating with operational teams to develop and implement strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discussions with operational stations to enhance understanding of financial reports and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Performance Metrics Development: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to last mile operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive initiatives aimed at improving reporting processes, financial analysis methodologies, and overall financial performance within last mile operations.
- Project Support: Participate in cross-functional projects as needed, providing financial expertise and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide training and support to junior analysts and operational teams on financial reporting processes and analytical tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as supply chain, logistics, and operations, to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
- Data Optimization: Significantly reduce the number of data sources used by the team to enhance the efficiency and consistency of analyses.
- Data Cleaning Solutions: Implement solutions to reduce the time spent on data cleaning, allowing the team to focus more on analysis and sharing relevant information.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with data science engineers to ensure the integrity and quality of data used in financial analyses.
- Business Needs Translation: Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development and analysis teams.
- Reporting Tools Development: Develop and maintain reporting and visualization tools to facilitate decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
- Proven experience in developing reporting tools and conducting comprehensive financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Excel , power BI
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual
