Senior Technician, Accounts Payable

Hybrid work: 3 days at the office and 2 days remotely

Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time (37,5 hours)

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Operational Accounting Manager, as part of the Shared Accounting Services team, the Senior Accounts Payable Technician will support the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and issuing payments.

What You’ll Do

Ready to start your career with us? Here's an overview of the main responsibilities of this position:

Reconcile data/purchases recorded at points of sale with statements of account received from suppliers
Enter invoices into the computer system;
Issue payment lists;
Analyse various accounts;
Respond to requests from various internal managers and suppliers;
Improve and document internal procedures
Train new accounts payable technicians.
Any other related tasks.

What You’ll Need

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

Education :

DEC in accounting

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience;

Knowledge and skills:

Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality when handling files;
Meet tight deadlines;
Be meticulous and fast at the same time;
Demonstrate a high level of customer service;
Able to work alone or in a group;
Proficiency in the Office suite, particularly Excel.

Language Skills

Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.
