If you are a talented and experienced Bookkeeper, Aplin has the right opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a contract Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time/casual basis. This role will be remote, during business hours, for 1 day a week eventually transitioning to only 2-3 times a month.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, employee reimbursements, and EFT/cheque runs.
- Handle Accounts Receivable.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Process monthly payroll for roughly 12-15 employees
- Complete quarterly GST returns.
- Perform various account reconciliations as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Bookkeeper, Accounting Technician, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in the use of Xero is a must.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new processes and an openness to change.
