Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll, accounting software, corporate finance, and full-cycle accounting. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and grow in the field of accounting and payroll.
Responsibilities
- Manage North America payroll processing and systems
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Conduct account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Job cost tracking, analysis and reporting
- Perform account analysis to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Corporate finance reporting requirements and ad-hoc reporting
- Assist with corporate tax analysis
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks
Required Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks
- Experience with payroll processing and account reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles
- Ability to analyze and report research results with accuracy
- Keen attention to detail, deadline-oriented, superior time management skills
- Familiarity with accounts payable and account analysis
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Previous experience in industry or construction
