VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk. In this role, you will manage customer accounts, ensure timely payments, process invoices, and handle collections. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate records and support cash flow management.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer invoices, payments, and credits.
- Monitor customer accounts for timely collection and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Prepare and send statements of account to customers.
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounts receivable reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
- Support the finance team with general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong math and computer skills essential, including proficiency in accounting software (experience with Business Central preferred).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping (experience in the construction/manufacturing industry is an asset).
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
