Overview
Our multinational payroll processing client is looking for a Payroll Specialist for their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and PCP and a good understanding of various payroll systems.
Responsibilities
* Coordinates all incoming payroll data for assigned
* Maintains complete, accurate, and timely client and employee records based on real-time requests
* Responds to & resolve all incoming inquiries from clients and/or employees, delivering the highest level of customer service within expected timelines
* Records/updates all employee issues on the database tracking system
* Prepare internal and external reports as required.
* Create & manage client communication & their requests;
* Utilize all internal tools & defined processes to ensure optimal productivity and service excellence and make recommendations for best practices to customers
Experience
* 5+ years of experience in a payroll setting
* Knowledge of Canadian Payroll
* PCP certification is an asset
* Self-starter, independent, and team player
* Attention to detail, payroll compliance, and audit functions
* Highly developed issue resolution & decision-making skills
* Proven ability to multi-task and complete tasks and project work within tight timelines
* Self-driven, independent thinker who is highly motivated and possesses an intrinsic passion for quality
* Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills in a team environment
* Refined interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to empathize, align and support our quality vision
* Ability to collaborate & work effectively within cross-functional teams
* Demonstrates flexibility in working hours during peak periods
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

Pay: $43.00-$58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
