Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant at Financial Debt Recovery. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for tasks such as cost accounting, financial statement analysis, preparing journal entries, and financial analysis. The role will involve collaborating with finance teams and contributing to financial reporting processes.

Qualifications
- Cost Accounting and Financial Statements skills
- Analytical Skills for financial data interpretation
- Experience in preparing Journal Entries
- Knowledge of Finance principles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Provide guidance and leadership to corporate strategic planning
- Ensure Compliance with Canadian and US regulatory requirements
- Responsible for all financial and management reporting
- Responsible for budgets and forecast
- Develop and maintain Financial Models
- Design and develop KPI reports
- Manage cash flow and prepare Cash flow forecasts
- Create and maintain monthly financial statements
- Perform ROI and portfolio valuations
- Responsible for contract management
- Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in the similar role
- MBA in finance of relevant field
- CA, CPA, or CMA
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SOC 2 compliance requirements
- Experience in financial services/real estate industry preferred
- Strong leadership skills
