Your next bold adventure starts here as a Senior Accountant:
You will coordinate the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and supporting the company's overall financial health. This role calls for exceptional analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
The heart of the role:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Collaborate with applicable management in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements and ensure timely and accurate bank deposits.
- Assist in managing the company's fixed assets and inventory accounting.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial and operational initiatives.
What you’ll add to our team:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Top notch analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong organizational acumen.
- Impeccable focus on details and outstanding accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
