ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE AGENT

SUMMARY OF THE FUNCTION

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the incumbent assists the Accounts Receivable Agents by performing the tasks inherent in the management of accounts receivable while following up with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow up on customer claims/credit requests.
Analysis of contract agreements and validation of related deductions.
Process data entry necessary according to contract agreements.
Collect and follow up on accounts receivable, mainly by e-mail.
Ensure proper posting of amounts to general ledger accounts.
Maintain customer’s master data.
Ensure proper and timely filing of accounts receivable documents in our computerized system;.
Support the sales team as needed.
Respond to any other information or processing requests related to accounts receivable.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

DEC in administration, accounting or finance or any equivalent work experience.
2 years experience in a similar position; .
Knowledge of Office automation tools (especially Excel spreadsheets).
Knowledge of SAP and/or Vistex is an asset.
Knowledge of the Food industry deduction practices is an asset.
Be recognized for analytical skills, thoroughness and teamwork.
Be highly versatile, autonomous and motivated.
Have an excellent sense of responsibility and ability to meet.
